Betsy, Marcia and I are so sorry for your loss. We just learned of Mark's passing late yesterday and don't often feel as far removed from Marshalltown as this. I greatly admired and respected Mark's many gifts and always enjoyed being in his company, though he was usually playing (or discussing) a game I was not entirely familiar with. Our hearts go out to you and your family as you recover from this loss. Hold them close and count us among his many friends.

My most heartfelt condolences for the loss of Mark. I am proud to call him a friend and fellow sports enthusiast. I spent many nights at the baseball park with Mark when he ran the scoreboard as I announced the games. And many more nights when he just popped in to watch a game with us.
May God wrap his loving arms around you and your family as you deal with his passing.

To my wonderful brother-in-law of over 55 years. I was 16 when in your wedding. You were so quiet in the beginning, but warmed up to our family & became great friends with your father-in-law, my dad.
