Mark Jeffrey "Jeff" Mardis

Louisville - Mark Jeffrey "Jeff" Mardis, 57, of Louisville passed on Monday, August 23, 2021,at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Jeff owned and operated Rainbow Design Services.

Jeff's desire to assist those he loved was bottomless. Rarely are people fortunate enough to have a friend like him. The immensity of his love for his family and friends is still palpable.

Jeffrey knew how to live. He worked hard and played hard. He gave himself completely to each moment and experience. He loved music, and frequently played "Who sang that". He loved cheering on Kentucky Basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Cincinnati Reds.

Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He and his wife traveled a lot, but his favorite place was always his beach house. He never met a stranger, was a dog lover, and a supporter of Law Enforcement.

Left to cherish Jeff's memory is his wife of 16 years Renee Ann Mardis; sons Billy Mardis and Tyler Scott (Sarah Slater); mother Mary Mardis; grandchildren Landyn and Layla Scott; and his cousin Cheryl Minor.

Visitation for Jeff will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4-8 pm at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home Jeffersontown 10600 Taylorsville Rd. His funeral service will be noon on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
