Mark Stephen Markuson

Mark S. Markuson, 70, of Gloucester, husband of Rosemarie (Interrante) Markuson passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers, MA.
He was born in Gloucester, MA on November 20, 1953, son of the late Augustus K. and Grace (Palazola) Markuson.
Mark was a life-long Gloucester resident. He was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1972. He worked for Gorton's of Gloucester for over 40 years.
Mark enjoyed the simple things in life, he was a New England sports fan, had a dry sense of humor, worked hard, and was proud to provide for and care for his family.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rosemarie Markuson; his son, Benjamin Markuson; sisters, Christine Willis, and Mary Jane Rix (Jon); niece, Toby McCormack; sister-in-law, Annette Murray (Dean); brothers-in-law, Buddy Interrante (Carmen) and Jim Interrante; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gus Markuson; brothers-in-law, Benny Interrante, Ray Willis and his in-laws, Mary, and Jimmy Interrante.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.
