Mark David Masci, 64, of Monessen, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 18, 2024 at home. He was born on February 29, 1960 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Edmund A. Masci Sr. and Mildred (Tweardy) Masci. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, a 1978 Graduate of Monessen High School where he played basketball. He was a member of the Charleroi Belgian Club and the Monessen Fireman’s Club. Mark was an extremely well liked person and everyone who he met loved him. He was a generous man who loved to joke around and would do anything for anyone. His great niece and nephew were the light of his life. He worked for many years and retired from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. He is survived by his son Che Tyran Hill, a sister, Linda (Mark) O’Keefe of Mechanicsburg, his nephew, Bryan (Haven) O’Keefe Middleburg VA., his niece, Ashley (Andrew) Maurer Harrisburg PA., his great-niece, Alivia Grace Maurer, and his great-nephew, Drew Maurer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edmund A. Masci, Jr. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Epiphany of Our Lord Church at 10:00 am, with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating, anyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are asked to be sent to Mon Valley EMS, 1001 Donner Ave Monessen, PA 15062. Condolences are being accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
