Mark Allen McClurg, of Clarksville, TN, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 51 years of age.

Mark was born in Warner Robins, GA, on October 10, 1973.

Mark is preceded in death by his grandpa, James Shepherd; Granny, Peavey; great Uncle, Frank; and dogs, Hank, Lady, Buster.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane McClurg; daughter, Kaila McClurg; son, Rhett Allen McClurg; sister, Crystal and Wade Horsting; nieces, Kinley and Ashlyn Cook; nephew Gavin Cook; best friends, Terry Weber, John Lulich, Pete Thibodeux, Nathan Brown, Jason Green, Robert Haney, Tom Sovulewski; The Hilltop Boys; dogs, Gus, Pancho, Scout, Uga; cats Dexter, Monica; and his loving donkeys, Mama, Papa, Baby Boy, and Baby Girl.

Mark retired from the army after 21 years as a CW3 and will be deeply missed by all his brothers and sisters in the military.

Mark loved fishing, mowing the lawn, camping and walking through the woods. He absolutely loved arrowhead hunting with his Grand-daddy.

Visitation will be on October 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Mark really did love everyone, he was a wonderful man. He was an honorable father, son, uncle, husband, leader, and friend.
