Mark Steven McElhiney, age 54, of Murfreesboro, went to be with his Lord, February 28, 2011 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Our loss is Heavens gain. He was a very loving husband and father, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a native of Nashville but currently resided in Murfreesboro. He was a member of Kings Chapel Baptist Church and worked at the loading docks for a trucking company. Mark is survived by his parents, Bobby and Audrey Baker McElhiney of Murfreesboro; his wife of 36 years, Judy Perry McElhiney of Murfreesboro; his sons and their wives, Christopher Adam (Tosha) McElhiney of Murfreesboro and Michael Steven (Lindsey) McElhiney of Murfreesboro; his brother, Terry McElhiney of Murfreesboro; his sisters, Becky (Donald) Hatchett of Bell Buckle and Susan (Paul) Nicholson of Bell Buckle; and several nieces and nephews. Chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Rev. Don Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with friends serving as active pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. 615-893-2422.
