Mark Meisel passed away on April 9, 2024 after a long illness of progressive multiple sclerosis.
He is survived by his children Jay and Stacey and their spouses, Hunter and Marty, his grandson Aidan, as well as his mother, Jackie, his brothers Alan and Neil, and their families. His wife Amy passed away in 2001.
He graduated from Union College in 1969 and the Iowa College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1974.
Mark was a family physician for many years in Glen Rock, NJ. People around the area affectionately would call him "Doctor Mark." In his younger years he was an avid sportsman in high school, college, and with his friends and family. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was patient and thoughtful, and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services are Thursday, April 11, at 1:00pm at The Jewish Center of Princeton, 435 Nassau St, Princeton, NJ. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the ASPCA.
