Tom Meisel Obituary

Tom was born on October 15, 1947 to James and Dolores (Avery) Meisel in Saginaw, Michigan. He married the love of his life, June King, on July 15, 1967. They shared 56 years together before her death in 2024.
During his life, Tom worked as a Plumber and Steamfitter and was a member of the Local 85 since 1969. He was very involved with the union and was always willing to lend a helping hand on any project. Tom loved gardening, camping, hunting, traveling, trips to the casino, and farming. He especially loved his trips to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Tom (Jill) Meisel, Doug (Carrie) Meisel, Laura Meisel; grandchildren, Kristin Lueders, D.J. (Jackie) Meisel, Brandon (Katie) Meisel, Carter Pattison, Allison (Drake Newcom) Meisel, Thomas Meisel, Chloe Meisel, Lily Meisel and Lance Meisel; great grandchildren, Tucker Meisel, Rylee Meisel, and Baby Girl Meisel due in February; siblings, Terry (Wanda) Meisel, Cheri (Matt) Seager, Mary (David) Morris, Donna (Carl) Holiday; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Tom is preceded in death by his wife, June; and parents.
A funeral service will be held 11am on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at McGeehan Funeral Homes - St. Charles Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Chapin Methodist Church.

Tom, Terry and I used to play down the lane to Fobears House and we visited Carolyn, Ron, Fred and Jack. We visited with Aunt Florence and Uncle Johnny too.
Tom let us ride his bike a bit until we got called home by Mom.
