Mark R. Millhouse

Mark R. Millhouse, age 57, of Cortland, IL passed away with his wife by his side on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL.

He was born May 1, 1964 to Robert and the late Georgene "Genie" nee Korody Millhouse.

Mark recently retired from AT&T after 25 years where he was an air pressure technician.

Mark loved to be out in the water on his boat, snowmobile in Wisconsin, traveling with his wife and meeting new people, working in the yard, passion for photography, enjoyed doing the maintenance on his toys and vehicles, listening and sharing his love of music - all types along with spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Tammy nee Weitz Millhouse, daughter, Nicole (Doug) Hagerty, son, David (Renae) Millhouse, three grandchildren, Cody, Faith and Levi, sister Marci (Paul) Cartee, brother, Michael (Kim Hausherr) Millhouse, two nephews, Stephen Cartee and Matthew Millhouse, two nieces, Lauren Cartee and Genna Millhouse, several aunts, uncles and cousins and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Genie in 2020.

Cremation was accorded the wishes of Mark and his Family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 12 noon – 6:00 P.M. at the Luxie Club, 416 High Street, Aurora, IL 60505.
