Mark Nardella Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Kansas & Missouri - Prairie Village on Apr. 17, 2025.
Mark Anthony Nardella, age 73, peacefully passed away on April 15, 2025. Mark was born in Omaha, Nebraska on February 12, 1952. He was a man with a heart full of spirit and lived a full life enjoying traveling, a game of pool, reading, watching movies, spending cherished time with his grandchildren and taking care of and spoiling his chihuahua, Buffie Michelle.
Mark was born to Anthony J. "Sonny" Nardella and Mine L. Madsen, whom both preceded him in death. He is survived by his two sisters, Jodene C. Grashorn & Cheryl L. Benning; daughters, Michelle L. Fefel & Lisa M. Nelson; son, Marc A. Nardella; bonus daughters, Elisha N. Stoner & Vanessa R. Frazier and many grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mark worked as a carpet layer when he was young, moved on to car salesman/manager & then coproprietor of Mark & Michelle's Bar & Grill until his retirement in 2014. He always had a joke to tell, a strong opinion (sometimes you didn't want to hear it) and was willing to help those less fortunate then him. He had a "tough guy" shell, but deep down he had a gentle heart and soul.
Mark made a lifetime of memories with those who called him papa, brother, dad and friend. His talent for entertaining & creating memories stayed with him until the very end, as he made many a nurse laugh and I think some cry. He was fortunate to be able to spend his last days with family and some very special good friends, Don Warren, Michelle Payne & Lanny Payne.
Mark is now reunited in heaven with his beloved chihuahua Buffie Michelle whom taught him the truest form of love..that which is unconditional. Let's remember Mark for his wit, his generosity, his love and the stories and laughter he helped to create.
A celebration of life will be held at Michelle's Neighborhood Bar & Grill, 7102 N Oak Trafficway, Gladstone, MO on May 1, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In honor of Mark now, we encourage you to share your memories, laughs, mischief and whatever story you have in your heart.
