Mark Nava Obituary
Mark was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Many who grew up in Northeast Portland knew him and have fond memories of his larger-than-life personality, often accompanied by a funny story or two.
A man of adventure and spontaneity, Mark was known as the life of the party. His stories were abundant, wild, and full of humor. No one laughed harder at his jokes than Mark himself. Thankfully, his infectious laughter brought joy to many.
Mark came from a large family, being the third oldest of eight children. He is survived by his siblings Steve, Ginny Ann, John, Lucy, Matt, and Jimmy; his son Thomas and his wife Brittnay; his daughter Maddie and her husband Lucio; and his three grandchildren, Graziano, Nico, and Sienna.
Mark will be reunited with his parents, Virginia and Steve Nava, and his sister Susan, all of whom preceded him in death.
A celebration of Mark's life will be held on January 11th at 11am at The Madeleine.

I remember Mark as being a sweet shy guy. He had a big friendly smile. He was one year a head of me at Madeleine, class of 1965. My sister Gwen was in the same class. I would have liked to attend his service tomorrow but I´m helping out at a funeral reception at my parish.
May God almighty have mercy on his soul and grant him eternal life with him in paradise. My sympathy to all the family and friends.

I remember Mark from grade school at the Madeleine. He was a year ahead of me and one of the "cool" boys. I remember he was very funny and a bit "scary" at times........but not in a mean way. Sending my condolences to his family. May Mark rest in peace and love.
