Mark Orlowski Obituary

Mark S. Orlowski, age 69, a man of spirited nature and loving heart, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024, in Milwaukee, WI, surrounded by his beloved family. He was born on May 27, 1954, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Lawrence and Joyce (nee Chojnacki) Orlowski and grew into a man of passionate energy and kindness that touched everyone he met.
Mark graduated from Greenfield High School in 1972. His professional life culminated in a career that would span 17 years at Metal-Era, where he was well-respected and retired from.
In 1984, Mark married the love of his life, Lisa Orlowski nee Rich, and together they built a life filled with joy, adventure, and the laughter of children and grandchildren. Their nearly 40-year union was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect. Mark was a devoted father to Adam Orlowski and James (Korie) Orlowski, and a loving grandfather to Jayden and Bryce, who will miss his playful spirit.
Mark's family circle was wide and full of love. He is fondly remembered by his siblings, the late Michael (Diane), Jeffrey (Kathy), and Jay (Erin), as well as his cherished poodle, Max. His memory will be honored by his in-laws, Charles (Cathy) Rich, Richard Sr. (the late Donna) Rich, Gregory II (Sandra) Rich, De Anne (Patrick) Standlee, and Cindy (Michael Sr.) Gaffney. His warmth, humor, and generosity will be missed by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends, all of whom found a friend in Mark.
Mark found solace in the serenity of nature. He was often found fishing, a pastime that allowed him to reflect on life's simple pleasures. Camping was another of Mark's joys, a time when he could relax and immerse himself in the beauty of the wilderness. At home, he would unwind by listening to his favorite music, a melody for every mood and moment.
Above all, Mark cherished the time spent with his family. Whether it was a quiet evening at home or an exuberant family gathering, those moments were the ones he held most dear. His spirited conversations, loving embraces, and passionate storytelling will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Mark's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and an unyielding zest for life. He approached each day with a smile and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he encountered. His legacy is one of love, commitment, and the joy of living each day to the fullest.
As we bid farewell to Mark S. Orlowski, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and joy. His spirit will continue to inspire us, his laughter will echo in our memories, and his love will remain in our hearts forever. Mark's journey on earth has concluded, but his story will be recounted with fondness and love for generations to come.
A gathering to honor and remember Mark will be held by his family. They will carry forward his legacy by living out the values he embodied and by cherishing the countless happy memories they created together. Mark's life was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will be treasured always.

My condolences to Lisa, family and friends. Mark's Obit is a wonderful representation of the friend I got to know up at the Campground. So much laughter, fun, great serious talks. Tim and I were blessed to have such fond memories shared together with the crew. Mark made us feel so accepted and loved.

I so wish his journey hadn't ended. However, they must need a good one up in Heaven.

Think of that smile when you feel down. He could pull a fast joke with a straight face and then laugh right at you.

Forever memories. Rest well my friend.
