Mark, a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on January 18, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on July 23, 1958, in Princeton, Indiana.
Mark is survived by his children Stacy Padgett, Mark Padgett Jr., Anthony Doss, Marcus Padgett, Mark Padgett III, and Austyn Padgett; grandchildren Cameron McCall, Jaylen McCall, Matthew Key Jr., Gabby McCall, Reyna Padgett, Rhinassa Padgett, Zaelen Padgett, Zay'leigh Padgett, Memphis Padgett, Phoenix Padgett, Jameison Bickers, Greyson Bickers and great-grandchild Jaxon McCall. He is also survived by his siblings Cody Selby, Robert Selby, David Selby, and Tracy Gayer.
Mark's interests and hobbies included playing basketball, watching country music videos, discussing sports, especially football and basketball, collecting Batman memorabilia, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was known for his sense of humor, faith-filled spirit, and making up nicknames for everyone he met.
Throughout his life, Mark worked in various jobs, from running his own tire shop to working as an auto detailer with his son Marcus. He was a hard worker and cherished time spent with his family.

Visitation is Thursday, January 30, 2025, 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
Burial will immediately follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
