Mark Aaron Paul

Mark Aaron Paul, 77, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024 after a brief illness. He was born on January 12, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA, the youngest son of William and Etta (Gratz) Paul. Mark was raised in the Overbrook Park neighborhood of West Philadelphia, where he graduated from Overbrook High School. For 55 years, he was married to the love of his life, Joyce (Shiroff) Paul, whom he met while they were both undergraduate students at Temple University. In addition to being a devoted and loving husband, Mark was an incredible father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. Everyone that knew him was touched by his enthusiasm, warmth, and unique ability to make people around him feel special. These characteristics helped make him a successful small business owner that helped dress many in the Delaware Valley in fine men's clothing for over 50 years. In addition to his beloved wife, Joyce, Mark is survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law that made him so proud, Ian and Rita Paul, Brian and Jill Paul, and Ross and Rachel Paul as well as his nine wonderful grandchildren, Madison, Ava, Aubrey, Jack, Sophia, Charlotte, Juliet, Aiden, and Mason. Like he did with his sons as they were growing up, Mark found entertaining ways to play and have fun with his grandchildren, using one of his many gifts. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Daniel. Mark's wonderful and full life will be celebrated at a graveside funeral service on Sunday, October 13, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am at Haym Salomon Memorial Park, 200 Moores Road, Frazer, PA 19355. Shiva will be held on Sunday beginning at 2:00 pm and also on Monday from 4:00-8:00 pm at the late residence.
