Mark A. Plubell, 61, of Clearfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Mark was born January 26, 1964, in Philipsburg, the son of the late LeRoy and Leola (Smith) Plubell.
He graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1982 where he excelled as a wrestler. He was then employed for 42 years by the local union 669 with 30 years of service at S.A. Comunale. He loved to hunt, fish, four wheelers, camp, and watch football. Anyone who knew Mark knows that he loved to shoot the breeze and see whose money he could win playing cards. He especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Mark was a member of the Frenchville VFW and the Mosquito Sportmens Club. He also attended the Flegal Road Church of Christ.
Mark is survived by his wife Andria (Childs) Plubell, whom he wed June 7, 2008; two daughters, Randee (Plubell) Starck and husband Sean and Leann (Plubell) McGovern and husband Dustin; a stepson, Travis Garner and companion Shelby Almendarez; four grandchildren, Alexys McGovern, Kase Starck, Waylon McGovern, and Olivia McGovern; five siblings, Gary Plubell and late wife Gwen, Gregory Plubell, Gail Stiner and husband Raymond, Suzette Plubell and companion Tim Prisk, and Rhonda McGovern and late husband Doug. Mark and also survived by two dogs, Karma and Duncan.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 6:00 PM with brother-in-law Raymond Stiner officiating.
Family and Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 2 PM - 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Christian Servant Academy, 4064 Winburne Munson Road, Morrisdale, PA 16858.
