Thompson – Mark R. Racine, 38, of Buckley Hill Rd., died Sunday evening, February 15, 2026, at home. Born in Southbridge, MA, he was the son of Mark K. Racine of Woodstock and Lisa (Tucker) Racine and her husband Mark Mayo of Thompson. Mark attended the Harvard H. Ellis Technical School in the auto body program.

Mr. Racine worked in the auto body field.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, bike riding, and spending quality time with his family at family outings.

Mark is survived by his parents, his son, Max Racine of Putnam, his daughter, Vanessa Racine of Thompson, and his siblings, Michael Green of Killingly, Dawn Parks of Plainfield and Wendy Martell of Dudley, MA; his cousin and caregiver, Brooke Basara of Southbridge, MA; his aunts, Robin Auger and her husband Christopher of Southbridge, MA, Nicole Martin and her husband Richard of Warwick, RI, Kim Leo and her husband Sam of Southbridge, MA, Donna Tucker of FL, Sheila Tucker of Southbridge, MA, and many other loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins He was predeceased by a brother Jeffrey Green.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mark's family from 4:00PM to 6:00PM on Thursday, February 26, 2026, in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 School Street, Putnam CT 06260. A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, starting at 1:00PM and the home of his mother Lisa, 210 Buckley Hill Rd., Thompson, CT 06255.
