Mark Ranney Obituary
Mark Steven Ranney, age 67, of Owosso, Michigan, passed away on March 2, 2026. The family will gather privately to honor his memory.
Mark was born on September 15, 1958, the son of the late William and Marjorie (Bailey) Ranney. He had a deep love for nature and found great joy in spending time near the water—especially the ocean. Feeding squirrels and birds each day was one of the simple pleasures that brightened his life. He had a gift for landscaping and every yard he worked on was nothing short of immaculate.
He is survived by his daughter, Cherie Hartwick; his grandchildren, Mathew, Gabi, Anna, Izzy, Haley, Areonna, Jesse, Stevee, and Clayton; and his great-grandchildren, Levi, Eli, Naomi, Stella, Espen, and Eikorah. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob and Tim.
Mark was preceded in death by his son, Jason, and his brothers, Chuck, Rod, and Tom.
