Mark Anthony Richards

RICHARDS, Mark Anthony – of Davison, MI, age 57, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on a later date

Mark was born in Flint, MI on May 7, 1968, son of the late Roger and Theresa (Wilcox) Richards. He was a graduate of Davison High School, Class of 1986. Mark went on to build a long and dedicated career with Owen Tree Service, where he eventually retired after many years of hard work and commitment. He took pride in an honest day's work and was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Mark found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments. He had a true passion for wood carving and gardening, especially tending to his vegetable garden. He deeply loved his animals-Prinny, Capone, and Sophia-who were constant companions and brought him great comfort and happiness. Mark also enjoyed cooking and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends. His kindness, steady presence, and love for those around him will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Mark is survived by 2 daughters, Ashley (Matthew) Veit and Chelsie Richards; 2 grandchildren; fiancée, Valerie Panks; 2 siblings, Phil Richards and Paul Richards; canine companion, Prinny; 2 feline companions, Capone and Sophia; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Theresa Richards.
