Mark Robert

Coach doesn't seem like a big enough word to describe the impact Mark Robert made during his life and career. Mark passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024. Prior to his passing, he lived his life coaching at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School.
Mark was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Warren, Michigan. He attended Warren Wood High School where he studied Business Machine Repair. During this time he also played football, played trumpet in the marching band, and met his lifelong sweetheart, Linda.
In 1978, Mark and Linda were married, and moved from Michigan to Upland, California eventually settling in San Bernardino, California. In the early years, Mark worked servicing typewriters, printers, and copy machines. With the popularization of the personal computer and the internet, he shifted his career to coaching where he thrived.
Through the course of his 30 year career he coached football, basketball, softball, and baseball. He had a gift for engaging and connecting with the youth, and he made a difference in many lives.
Mark is survived by his wife Linda, his son Matthew and his wife Christina, his daughter Sarah and her husband David, and grandchildren Jackson, Conrad, and Ethan.
