Mark Anthony Robinson

Mark Anthony Robinson, age 82, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. While his passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him, that space will be filled with the countless cherished memories he leaves behind.
Mark was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1943 to Andrew and Ruth Fern Robinson. He was the third of four children. In 1959, Mark married the love of his life, Marilyn Elaine Brookins. Together they shared 66 years of marriage marked by unwavering love, devotion, and partnership that truly stood the test of time.
A devoted husband and a loving, supportive father to their three children, Mark took great joy in ensuring their childhoods were filled with meaningful experiences and lasting memories-gifts that will be treasured for a lifetime.
Mark proudly served the Columbus community for 30 years as a firefighter. He found great purpose in his work and often shared stories from his career, speaking with pride about the experiences and people who shaped his service. His dedication, courage, and commitment left a lasting impact on those he worked with and served.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Robinson Sr. and Ruth Fern Robinson; his brothers, Andrew Robinson and Daniel Robinson; and his son, Steven Robinson.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Robinson; his daughter, Sherry Arnold; his son, Jeffrey Scott Robinson (Kristy); his grandchildren, Alicia Holanda-Muñoz (Alejandro), Jennifer Robinson, Ashley Ramirez, Britani Stubbs (Slade), and Grant Arnold (Corri); 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Carole Cappociama; his brother, David Robinson (Barb), as well as many nephews and nieces. All are deeply grateful for the love he shared and the memories that will forever be cherished.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, at MYERS-WOODYARD Funeral Home, located at 587 Main Street,
Groveport, Ohio 43125. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment following in Asbury Cemetery.
