Mark Ahrend Saul

Mark A. Saul, 56, of Waterville, ME passed away at his home on October 29, 2025. He was born January 8, 1969 to Dixie (Baker) and Allan Saul in Waterville. Growing up, Mark enjoyed playing sports, especially football, and he was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Boston Red Sox. Mark graduated from Waterville High School in 1987. In his young adult years, he also played in a softball league. Aside from sports, Mark loved playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and video games on his Xbox.
When Mark married Nancy Atkins in 2000, he became stepdad to her son, Dylan. Having no biological children of his own, he accepted Dylan as his own and bonded with him over their mutual love for video games. Mark worked for T-Mobile in Waterville as Expert Tech Support, and he had many beloved coworkers. He was known for his jokes and sarcastic personality. Mark had a deep love for his cats, Sansa and Ginger, who loved snuggling on his lap in his recliner while he played his video games.
Mark was predeceased by his mother, Dixie. Mark is survived by his parents, Allan and Paula Saul; step-son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, Dylan, Nikki, Finnegan, & Phoebe Atkins; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie & Mike Huey; niece and family, Michaela, Ben, & Raelynn Copeland; niece and significant other, Megan Huey & Brycen Mushero; uncle and aunt, Fred and Robin Saul; aunt, Denise Ward; several cousins; ex-wife, Nancy; good friend, Amber Gold; and many gamer friends and coworkers at T-Mobile.
There will be no formal funeral or burial services, but a Celebration of Life gathering will be planned likely around his birthday in January. Updates to come.
