Mark G. "Tank" Schroyer

Mark G. "Tank" Schroyer, 66 of Connellsville died on Sunday March 1, 2026 in WVU Medicine, Uniontown Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1959 in Connellsville a son of Nancy Zimmerman Schroyer of Connellsville and the late Louis G. Schroyer. Tank was a graduate of Connellsville High School and the former California State College. He received his Master's Degree from Penn State University in Business. He retired as the City Manager for Oil City, PA. He previously worked as Borough Manager for Hollidaysbrug, Pa., Township Manager for South Park, PA and Township Manager for Exeter, PA., all for several years. Tank loved music and playing it as loudly as possible and he loved watching television and movies and spending time with his granddaughter. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rosemary A. Centeno Schroyer; his children, Kelsey Schroyer and his wife Danielle of Plainville, CT and Jenna Schroyer of Beechview, PA; his granddaughter, Maggie; his sister, Lou Ann Smitley and her husband Elmer "Wink" Stillwagon of Connellsville, his nephew, Jeremy Smitley and his niece, Caylie Prescott and her husband Jerico. He was predeceased by his father in 1994. Family and friends will be received from 4-8 P.M.Wednesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, PA. where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday. Interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
