Mark Schweickart Obituary
Mark was born July 29, 1952, in Wilmington, Ohio to the late John Wilson and Martha Virginia Woollard Schweickart. Mark enjoyed playing lottery scratch-offs, drinking his McDonald's coffee and sitting on his porch keeping watchful eye on the neighborhood.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Patty Earls Schweickart; a daughter, Candida (Brian ) Costa; a stepdaughter, Melissa Jolly; stepson Michael Jolly, brothers, Clark (Deborah) Schweickart of Chandler,Arizona, John Thomas (Julia) Schweickart, James (Bonnie) Schweickart of Georgetown, Ohio, and Robert Schweickart of Witcha, Kentucky; grandchildren, Katlyn (Frank) Hartman of Felicity, Ohio, Allison (Kyle) Pitakis of Maysville, Matt (Jody) Costa of Amelia, Ohio, Alexis (Charles) Schumann of Maysville, and Zan(Chasity) Jolly of Maysville; great grandchildren Waylon, Owen and Loretta Hartman, Emilia Pitakis, Layla and Kane Jolly, Saylor, Hudson and Myles Costa, Ean Beiland and Abigail Schumann; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by brothers Roger Elbert Schweickart and Phillip Albin Schweickart.
Service for Mark Schweickart will be held at 1: p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Brell & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wedonia Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Jolly, Brian Costa, Zan Jolly, Charles Schumann, Frank Hartman and Ean Beiland.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
