Mark Senke Obituary
He was born in Syracuse but spent the last 30 years living in Otisco. Mark's love for rescuing stray animals started at a very young age. He would share stories of stray cats that found their way to his garage and how he nurtured and cared for them. He was a plumber fitter for over 30 years.
Mark was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Jane Senke. Mark is survived by his life partner, Joanne Kitay; two sisters, Michele (Robert) Culkin and Mary (Michael) Martinez; six nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to thank the hospital staff at Upstate University Hospital Emergency Department, Floors 6B and 6K for the outstanding medical care given to Mark.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at FARONE & SON Inc Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. A funeral service to honor Mark's life will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Mark will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Friends Forever Animal Rescue, 174 Gristwood Road, Pennellville, NY 13132.

The Plumbing industry is saddened to hear we just lost a good Plumber. Mark was instrumental installing plumbing fixtures in many Commercial buildings around the Syracuse area. Rest in Peace brother.
