URBANA – Mark A. Sharpin, 82 of Urbana, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024 at Springfield Regional Hospital. He was born June 7, 1942 in Urbana, Ohio, the son of Mark H. and Ruth (Hill) Sharpin. Mark retired from farming after 60 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Heath) Sharpin; children, Greg (Paula) Sharpin, Doug (Shelley) Sharpin, Patti (Dustin) Gardner; grandchildren include Scott, Faith Ann, Kyleigh, Colleen, Tyler, Makena and Donovan; sister Barbara Price; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Howard Sharpin.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements are in the care of JENNINGS FARLEY & SEELEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY.
