Mark Wayne Shaw, age 58, of Salisbury, NH passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2025 due to complications related to his ongoing struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Franklin on March 31st, 1967 to Richard and Dorothy (Pringle) Shaw, Mark's creative spirit, empathetic nature, and unending humor brought joy to everyone around him. Growing up on a farm in Salisbury, he held fond memories of his childhood with his brother Matt, many of which involved them causing mischief. He went on to spend 21 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Diane, starting on July 7th, 2004. Those who knew Mark will remember him for his love of golf, karaoke, the community theatre, his two dogs Seminole and Bela, the ocean, and everything classic horror. His passion for music, art, and movies lives on through his drawings, favorite songs, and the memories he created with his loved ones. You would feel honored to have music and movies recommended to you, since his knowledge on both were vast. Mark held many titles in his life, but his favorite role was being the best "Papa" to his grandchildren. Mark is preceded in death by his father Richard E. Shaw and his brother Richard Shaw. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Shaw, his children Brittany Shea and husband Ethan Shea, Marcus Shaw and wife McKayla Shaw, Sarah Chance and Amanda Curtis and her husband Ryan Curtis, his brother Matt Shaw and his wife Linda, his mother Dorothy L. Shaw, five nephews and one niece, and three grandchildren, Devon and Bennett Shaw and Evelyn Shea. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 9-11am at the Smart Funeral Home, 584 West Main St., Tilton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, an organization Mark cared deeply about. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. He will be remembered for the profound impact he had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
