Mark Eugene Sherretts, age 60, passed away on December 15, 2025, at his home in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
Born on January 23, 1965, in Franklin, Pennsylvania, Mark was the son of the late Charles “Chuck” Sherretts and Sharon Schill.
Mark attended Jefferson High School and graduated in 1983. He was an avid member of the Sleepy Creek on the Potomac Family Campgrounds, where he enjoyed making lasting friendships, listening to music, enjoying a drink, and reminiscing about his youth. Mark always kept himself busy with projects and was often the first to offer help to anyone in need. He was a very active and devoted father who was always there for his children, offering support, guidance, and unconditional love. Mark will be remembered as one of the most loving and compassionate individuals by his family and friends.
Mark is survived by his four children, Jonathan Sherretts, Sarah Hess, Brianna Sherretts, and Charity Hansrote; his four sisters, Connie Sherretts, Mary Silveous, Nettie Burke, and Margaret Badger; and his grandchildren, Landon Sherretts, Lily McCarthey-Sherretts, Hailey McCarthey-Sherretts, and Chloe Hansrote, and along with numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Cherie Sherretts.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
