Mark Gordon Soderlund

Mark Gordon Soderlund, 70, of Jarrell, passed away on January 16, 2026, in Austin.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 23, 2026, at 311 E. University Avenue, Georgetown, TX 78626 with Rev. Dr. Roger Clayton, Jr. of St. John's Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
Mark was born in Providence, RI to Gordon Soderlund & Florence Smith on August 18, 1955. He went to school at Seekonk High School. He married Jacqueline Theresa Capistran on August 17, 1985, in Seekonk, MA. He worked as a Graphic Designer for several companies in Rhode Island over the years. Mark was an avid camper and enjoyed working in his wood shop redoing every home they ever lived in. He loved his family and his fur babies and would protect both at any cost.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
Mark will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline, his children, Michelle (Jeffrey) Cousineau, Adam (Elisabeth) Beausoleil, his sister, Karen (Norman) Caron, his grandchildren, Ashley, Renee, and Alex Cousineau, and Julia and Hanna Beausoleil. Also survived by brother-in-law Richard (Sharon) Capistran, sisters-in-law Lorraine (Thomas) Guertin, Christine Crepeau, and Susan (Miles) Briggs, and his many nieces and nephews who loved him deeply.
Memorials may be given in his name to your local animal shelter.
