Mark Harold Steele passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, April 22nd after 86 wonderful years.
Mark was the youngest of five children born to Don Claude and Ruby Steele in 1938. He had many happy memories growing up in Goshen, Utah, and later served in the United States Air Force, and made a career at Hill Air Force Base.
He married his sweetheart, Doris Sorensen on August 25th, 1960 in France and were later sealed in the Logan, Utah temple. South Ogden was home, and they spent 63 beautiful years together with their three children; Stacie, Callie and Wade, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Mark was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He could often be found with a golf-sock tan line, snuggling a grand baby or great-grand-baby in his blue recliner, sipping a Mountain Dew and telling stories. He was humble, generous, and always gave the best hugs.
Per Mark’s request, an intimate family funeral was held.
