Mark Sutherland, 64, of Orange, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in his home.
Born in Northbridge on October 6, 1961, he was the son of the late Wayne and Gloria (Soucy) Sutherland. Mark was the manager of the poultry farm at Molly Hill Farms for many years.
Mark loved the outdoors and looked forward to his yearly visit with his family and parents to Portage Lake, Maine. Mark lived life with a sense of adventure. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, horseback riding, fishing, and playing and coaching softball with his daughters. He loved sports, especially football and his team, the New England Patriots. Above all else, Mark cherished the time spent with his family, treasuring the many memories made and shared throughout the years.
Mark is survived by his three daughters, Heather Sutherland of Gardner, MA, Ashley Kirkland Sutherland of Weirsdale, FL, and Kristine Sutherland of Leesburg, FL; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; four brothers, Gary Sutherland and his wife Barbara of Whitinsville, MA, Richard Sutherland and his wife Donna of Northbridge, MA, Warren "Jay" Sutherland and his wife Kim of Lebanon, CT, Troy Sutherland of Orange, MA, and a sister, Debbra Pentland and her husband Edward of Whitinsville, MA; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made under Mark's obituary on the funeral home website to assist his family during their time of grief.
