Mark Raymond Taylor

Born on September 24, 1953, Mark was raised in New Jersey, where he graduated from Cinnaminson High School. From a young age, he stood out as a natural leader and was affectionately known as the "King of the Extension," a nod to his vibrant presence in his hometown neighborhood.

Mark approached life with creativity and passion and embraced many roles-poet, author, athlete, artist, history enthusiast, and devoted musician who traveled the country playing his guitar and singing his songs. He believed in living fully and authentically, and carried that spirit into everything he did. Mark's legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with his creativity, humor, and unwavering individuality. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Ray & Dorothy Taylor. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Jo Williams Taylor; his daughter, Kasey Taylor Porto; siblings Barbara Tuthill, Kevin Taylor, and Amy Smith of California; and Dawn Lunn of New York. He also leaves behind five nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and great nephews, and a multitude of cousins who will remember him fondly.
