Mark Vonley Thompson, age 62, resident of Dauphin Island, Alabama, was born on January 25, 1963, and passed away on October 15, 2025. Mark was originally from Ohio and was a Worthington High School graduate. He moved to and spent most of his life in Georgia. He worked in lawn care/maintenance and later became a pipe fitter. He had a big heart, loved his family, was the hardest worker, could fix anything, would help anyone, was very patriotic, and was an avid Buckeye fan. He was a loving son, brother, husband, dad, uncle, and papaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Lavon Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Thompson; his children, Kaileb (Zoe), Mason (Lytashia), and Jenna; and his grandchildren, Ezekiel, Liberty, Walker, Hollyn, Sofie, and Josie.
A private Celebration of Life Service for family will take place in Ohio at Thanksgiving time.
