Mark J. Tullis, 67-year-old rural Vinita resident, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the St. Francis Vinita Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1956, in Ogden, Utah to Marlon and JoAnne (Taylor) Tullis. Mark served over 20 years in the United States Air Force, before becoming a truck driver for CFI in Joplin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jeff Tullis.
The family includes his companion Mary Lou Gomez of Grand Lake Towne, son Sean O'Hara of Suffolk, Virgina, daughter, Tiffany Tullis of Kansas, sister, Susan Moreno of San Diego, grandchildren, Dalton, Mason, and Olivia.
Private services will be held. Online condolences may be made at www.highsmithfh.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita.
