Mark L. Urban

Mark Lawrence Urban, 77, of Sharon, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts. Born on April 24, 1948, in Niskayuna, New York, Mark lived a life marked by resilience, love for the outdoors, and dedication to his family.

Mark earned an associate's degree in electronics, which laid the foundation for his professional endeavors. He also served his country honorably as a member of the Army during the Vietnam era. His time in the military was a testament to his strength and commitment.

An avid outdoorsman in his younger years, Mark found joy in hiking and skiing. He cherished the tranquility of nature and spent countless hours exploring its beauty. Known for his shock of white hair and enduring spirit, he faced numerous physical ailments later in life with remarkable fortitude. Though illness eventually limited his ability to pursue his beloved hobbies, Mark's passion for the outdoors remained a defining part of who he was.

Mark is survived by his devoted wife Norma; his son Steve; his brother Ellison; and many cousins and friends who will remember him fondly. He was predeceased by his sister Diane.

May Mark's memory serve as a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him. A Funeral Service will be held on April 4, 2026, from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Southeast Funeral and Cremation Services, 93 Center St. Easton, MA. All relatives and friends are respectfully welcome to attend.
