Mark Vochinsky Obituary

Mark D. Vochinsky, 62, of Harrison City (formerly of Murrysville), died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Elkins, W.Va. He was born Feb. 4, 1961, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Donald and Lois Epling Vochinsky. He was a graduate of Franklin Regional High School. For many years he operated his own landscaping business among a variety of other jobs. His contributions as a community volunteer included working as an emergency medical technician and coaching youth softball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Vochinsky. Mark is survived by his brother, Erik; and sister, Lynn Wise, of Christiansburg, Va.; and his nephew, Alan. Mark was an avid outdoorsman, happiest when he was fishing. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and cooking and loved watching the Steelers and the Penguins. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the HART FUNERAL HOME, with a service following at 2 p.m. A private interment will follow at the Murrysville Cemetery. www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com.
