Mark Donald Weber, affectionately known as 'Shaggy', entered into complete healing on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the age of 58 in Myrtle Beach. Born on June 6, 1966 in Poughkeepsie, NY, a son of the late Herbert Weber III and Carol (Giglioti) Weber. Mark is survived by his sister Karen Weber and brother Wade Weber.
Mark lived in the Hudson Valley in NY much of his life and enjoyed associations with local musicians in the area. Music was a large part of his life, with a career spanning decades as a tour manager for many popular bands.
Mark's appreciation for nature led him to camping, hiking and geocaching in his spare time. Mark relocated to North Myrtle Beach in the latter part of his life where he enjoyed serene ocean living and spending time with his friends on the beach.
Details regarding his celebration of life will be arranged at a later date. Myrtle Beach Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time. Mark's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and fans.
Donations can be made in Mark's name to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, sweetrelief.org.

I met Mark on a Rock Legends Cruise with Vanilla Fudge, then crossed paths multiple times over the years as he toured with Vanilla Fudge, Last in Line, Angel, others. Behaved the gentleman, we'd grab a bite and talk about life, he had stories to tell. Photo: Shaggy at work April 2023

Mark had his music store next to the Dance studio in Red Hook that I attended and taught at for many years. He was funny and had stars in his store from time to time.
He was one of the roadies for the John Entwistle band, and I became friends with the drummer years later.
What a small world.
I´m sure Mark is flying around with John enjoying all facets of music.
Gone too soon
