Mr. Young died Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 3, 1958 to James Dwight Young and Nellie Katherine Holmes Young. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Charles, Kenny and Roger Young. Mr. Young retired from the Morgan County Sheriff's Department. He was married to Beth Young for 43 years.
Mark Young was the legend everyone spoke about and knew. He was the most selfless man and would help anyone at a moment's notice, no matter how big or small the task. He was a hardworking man that loved taking care of his family and friends. He was the man you could always depend on. He never met a stranger and would give you anything you needed. He loved to grill, ride his SxS, and was the fixer of everything, He is very loved and will be missed by many.
He is Survived by:
Wife - Beth Young
Son- Joshua K. Young (Elizabeth)
Daughter- Shanna K. Young (Carla)
Brother – Michael T. Young (Kim)
Grandchildren - Hagen and Harper
And a whole host of nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family.
