Marla Elaine Kitka

Marla Elaine Kitka, age 58, of Tomah, WI, and formerly of Sitka, Alaska passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Tomah. She was born on September 12, 1963 in Sitka, Alaska to Harold Kitka and Anne Johnson. She was Dakl'aweidi from Keet Gooshi Hit in Klukwan.
Marla was an avid Seahawks fan. She often helped with fundraising and cooking lunches at the American Legion in Sitka. Marla was an original Gaaja Heen dancer. She enjoyed fishing and taking hikes/walks. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her Mom, Anne Johnson; her six children, Charity (Luke Davis) Marshall, Travis (Rebecca) Marshall, Jessica (Jon Westpfahl) Marshall, Jamie (Jon) Huggins, Jared (Lauren Patterson) Marshall, Charlie (Ashley) Marshall; her brother, Ray Kitka; sisters, Janice (Dave) Meabon, and Barbara Kitka; along with many grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Marla was preceded in death by her Dad, Harold Kitka, and sister, Alice Kitka Harlow.
A Celebration of Marla's life is being planned in Sitka, Alaska. A private cultural ceremony followed by a Reception for Marla's friends and family will be at the American Legion in Sitka on March 12th.
