September 19, 2022. Age 92. Loving wife for 50 years to the late Peter Jr. Beloved mother of Marianne (Douglas) Trombley, the late Peter, the late Paul, the late Matthew, Lawrence, John (Josie) and the late Joseph. Adored grandmother of Amanda, Nicole, Marissa, Jacob, Nicholas, the late Joey and Paul. Dearest great-grandmother of 6. Joan loved and was very loved by her large family and enjoyed going to the grandchildren's events. Joan was very well traveled, and took numerous trips throughout the United States with her husband and family. She also made many international trips. Joan has been a longtime member of Sweetest Heart of Mary, even watching masses online. More recently she attended Mass at St. Paul of Tarsus. An Avid Tigers fan she rarely missed watching a game. Joan's fiercely intelligent mind was kept sharp with crosswords, Wordle and joking with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Visitation Friday, September 23, 2022 5-8pm, with Rosary 7pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile).Instate Saturday, September 24, 2022 11:30am at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Twp, until time of 12 noon Mass.
