Kay Clark, age 88, of Pomona, Kansas, passed away December 5, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Ottawa, KS on August 8, 1937 the daughter of Robert Parks and Shirley (Hughes) Parks. Kay was a lifelong Pomona, KS resident graduating from Pomona High School with the class of 1955.

On April 8, 1959 Kay was united in marriage to Vernon George Clark at Pomona Methodist Church. Kay and Vernon shared 54 years together.

Kay worked at Mode O' Day in Ottawa early in life and the became a beautician working at several beauty shops in Ottawa until she became a mother. She then devoted her life to raising her family.

She was a longtime member of Appanoose Baptist Church and spent many hours in Bible studies and always enjoyed classic Hymns and learning more about her Lord and Savior. She was a devoted and grateful believer in Jesus Christ.

Kay is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Clark in 2014; her parents; a brother, John Parks; and an infant sister.

She is survived by son Bret Clark, daughter Dena Honeycutt and her husband Carl, all of Pomona, KS; granddaughter Ashley Hogan of Pomona, KS, grandsons Cody Goyer of Pomona, KS, and Cameron Clark of Princeton KY; great-grandchildren Michael Mains, Jr. of Garnett, KS, Kassie Mains of Garnett, KS, Charles Hardman of Arkansas, Mikayleigh Hogan of Pomona, KS, Justin Hogan of Pomona, KS, Trisha Clark, Brooklyn Clark, Buck Clark, Bo Clark, and Nikki Clark all of of Princeton, KY

Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Dean Cemetery Family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa Kansas.. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Kay Clark Memorial Fund, c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
