Marlene Barton Obituary
Marlene graduated from Central High School in 1955 and went on to work at UND, then the phone company.
She worked for the phone company in North Dakota, California, Colorado and Arizona. She retired from the phone company in 1999. To keep busy, Marlene enjoyed ceramics and decorating tee shirts and sweatshirts. She did beautiful work and sold many of her pieces of each.
Marlene is survived by her grandsons, Nick Fortin, Buckfield ME; Jack Fortin, Mesa AZ; three great granddaughters, a niece, and four nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, siblings, son, Charles Barton and daughter, Melissa Fortin.
