On June 01, 2023, Marlene Childers passed away after complications from a stroke. She was 69 years old. Though born in West Virginia, Marlene found her way out of her small town to end up spending her last 24 years in Ohio. Marlene was a single Mother of 3 children, Shaun, Aaron, & Jessica with whom she was predeceased. She had 4 grandchildren that she absolutely adored, Adam, Carson, Aubrey, & Shayla. Marlene also had 17 siblings, as well as a twin sister. Despite her large family Marlene always made time for everyone. She always provided support, & love for her family. She worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for her children. She always insisted on cooking a full homemade meal. Her cooking is generally the first thing people remember about her. She was the epitome of a doting Mother. She would proudly boast about all of her children and grandchildren at any given chance. She would always say she lived for her children, and grandchildren. She will be missed always.
Please bring your fondest memories of Marlene to share with family, and friends as we celebrate her life on June 10, 2023 @10:30am-12:30pm at Genoa Baptist Church.
There will be a reception after the memorial service. Details will be posted shortly on social media, as well as at the service. Please reach out to Aaron Childers via Facebook should you have any questions.
