Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Siddle, age 48, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.
Liz was born on April 12, 1977, in Salem, Ohio. She spent most of her childhood in California, returning to Ohio in her teens, graduating from Groveport High School and living the rest of her life in Columbus.
Liz is survived by her parents, Robert and Mary Lee Siddle, Groveport, OH; husband, Phil Scherer, Columbus OH; brother, John Siddle, Columbus, OH; brother, Andrew (Courtney) Siddle, Columbus, OH; many aunts, uncles, and cousins who held a special place in her heart. Liz had a soft spot for their cats, Sydney and Nancy, treating each like the valuable family member they were.
Those who knew Liz remember her as someone whose presence brought warmth and light to every room.
A celebration of life is scheduled for noon September 14th at Goodale Park Shelterhouse and Gazebo. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Liz’s life.
