Brenda Lee Ryan, of Grove City, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Born March 29, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Fleeta Colflesh, and Margaret Prettyman. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Prettyman, and Junior Prettyman, Father-in-law William J. Bush, and Mother-in-Law Helen Bush, and brother-in-law Rev. Harry Myers.
She is survived by the love of her life, and her loving husband for over 67 years Patrick J. Ryan, and their companion Rocky. Her children: William J. Ryan “Sherry Ryan”, Kimberly Ryan, Patrick L. Ryan “Guillermo Dopico”, and Chris Ryan “Crista Ryan”, grandchildren: Christopher Sherrod, Jessica Ryan, Callie Ryan Nakanishi, Caine Craft, Cade Ryan, Carli Ryan, Malachi Craft and Colt Ryan, great-grandchildren: Olivia Nakanishi, Maci Nakanishi, Miliani Nakanishi and Kylie Nakanishi, sister-in-law Judy Myers, and sister Margie “Carl” Hemming, and niece Tracy “Scott” Jamison.
Brenda loved her years driving for Franklin County Board of DD and spent over 16 years, driving until her retirement.
She also loved her Bunco Monday nights with her Bunco girls, for over 45 years, she always looked forward to getting together and hosting with her very special friends who became family.
Her family was her heart, she was the best wife, mother, and mammy who was deeply loved by all. She will be forever in our hearts and cherished forever.
