Marlene Hejl Obituary
Marlene and Bernie met at a dance and spent much of the last 63-plus years dancing polkas together. They also had fun bowling, playing cards, and taking walks together.
"Nana" loved her children and grandchildren so very much. She enjoyed playing games, cards, and four-square with them whenever they got together. She supported whatever her kids and grandkids were involved in, with joy and pleasure.
If anyone needed help, she was right there to provide it, always serving and thinking of others. She fostered a love of family in her children, loved having her family together, and had a big impact on all of their lives. She will be dearly missed and always with us in our hearts.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church with Father Mark Starr officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Our Lady of La Salette
Catholic Church in Waleska, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Stefonsky, Sisters, Helen, Margaret, and Mary Stefonsky.
Survivors include:

Daughter - Patty and Kyle Gilmore
Son - David Hejl
Daughter - Sharon and John Feskanin
Daughter - Betsy and Wayne Johnson
Daughter - Jennifer and Allen Riegle
Grandchildren - Brad and Jessica Hejl, Andy Hejl, Jake and Tiffany Feskanin, Caitlin and Eric DeBaker, Hilary and Vinny Spahr, Zach and Stephanie Johnson, Paige and Joey Ball, Tanya Gilmore, Marina Gilmore, Alanna Gilmore, Maddy Gilmore, Brooke and Noah Lyon, Nate Riegle, and Audrey Riegle
14 Great Grandchildren

Sister - Amy and Joseph Fox
Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and other Family members also survive.
