Marlene Infanger, age 94, of Lemont, IL, formerly of Elmhurst, beloved wife of the late Frank (d. 1999) and the late Joseph Catalano (d. 1959); loving mother to Carol (Dave) Rudolf, Kathy
(K.) Sams, Paula Kleiman, Paulette (Don) Velasco, Margie (the late Bill) Haley, Pam (the late Pat) Senn, Lori ( the late Kent) Williamson, Mary (John) Rayis, Annie (Tony) Zara, Joe
(Fay) Catalano, and Frank; devoted grandmother of 34 and great-grandmother of 28. Marlene was devoted to her family and her faith. A long-time parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elmhurst, Marlene spent countless hours in service to the church as cantor, choir member, volunteer and parish secretary. She also channeled her outgoing personality and organizational skills into her work as an administrative assistant in Elmhurst schools. Marlene was known for her talent in cooking, sewing, and music. Her numerous grandchildren loved to tell her, "Grandma, you cook so good!" Marlene was a talented singer who performed in community musicals. Marlene's unwavering Catholic faith guided and sustained her throughout her life, and that same faith and assurance of eternal life serve as a comfort to the many loved ones she has left behind. Visitation Monday, November 24, 2025, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 10:00 a.m. until time of prayers 11:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.
