GUTTENBERG, IOWA
Marlene K. Kamienski, 77, of Guttenberg, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home.
A memorial service may be planned at a later date.
Marlene was born on June 25, 1946 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, daughter of Erhardt and Josephine (Machac) Jensen. She attended Cedar Falls High School. She married Greg Kamienski on October 7, 1962 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Marlene was a very talented and accomplished artist. She created beautiful photos on canvas with oil paint. She loved flying and traveling with Greg in their airplane. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking for the holidays, and traveling with family. She loved her winter getaways to Florida, but cherished her time living along the river in Guttenberg, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Greg; children: Michael (Elena) Kamienski, Sean Kamienski; grandchildren: Sean, Tyler, and Summer; brother, Ed Jensen; in-laws: Rob (Patti) Kamienski, Kevin (Vicki) Kamienski; aunt and uncle, Mike and Rita Machac, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Douglas Kamienski.
