Marlene loved Pittsford and worked for the Pittsford School District for 32 years. She enjoyed many years of traveling with her husband, Jim, and delighted in meeting new people. Gardening, cooking, baking, bowling and competitive games of Scrabble were favorite pastimes. Her word to live by was kindness, and she always made people feel welcome. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, and, of course, every animal she ever met.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00, January 24th at St. Catherine of Siena Church (26 Mendon Ionia Rd., Mendon). In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Marlene's name to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

We send our deepest condolences to the family of our dear friend Marlene. She was an exceptional woman who was so inspirational to all that knew her. She loved her animal friends, family and others she met along the way during her journey through life. We laughed, cried commiserated and shared all of life´s experiences whether they be good or not. I will miss our long conversations and the fun we had on our shared vacations.....irreplaceable memories for sure. You will remain forever within our hearts!
