Marlene Lewiski

Always the life of the party, Marlene Lewiski (nee Johnson) filled every room she entered with a lovely smile and joyful laughter. That spirit lives on since her passing on November 11th, 2025, when she joined her husband awaiting in heaven, Dr. Michael Lewiski. Marlene died peacefully surrounded by her beloved son and his wife Robert and Naomi Lewiski and the compassionate care staff of the Lilydale Senior Care Center.
Born on August 30th,1933, in Virden, Manitoba, CA Marlene lived a life defined by love, service, and devotion to those around her. In 1955, as a registered nurse in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she met and married the love of her life Dr. Michael Lewiski, starting a partnership that spanned more than 58 years. Their life together was filled with warmth, love, and unwavering faith.
Marlene was proceeded in death by her parents Blake and Elizabeth Johnson, her 12 brothers and sisters, her loving husband Dr. Micheal Lewiski, her daughter Brenda Linday, and sons, Paul and Kevin Lewiski. Along with son Robert, she is survived by her children Steve Lewiski, Mary Gonzales, and Cathy Null, as well as 14 cherished grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time at the horse races. She loved horses and would often tell stories about her horse Charlie, and adventures about the family farm on which she grew up.
Marlene's life was a testament to love, a woman who left a mark on all the hearts she so kindly touched. May she now rest eternally in peace with so many she dearly loved, while she'll be greatly missed, but not forgotten by so many here.
Mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. Joesph Church in Vancouver, WA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, the 3rd of December 2025. After a short reception, the burial will occur at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
