Marlene Mack Obituary

She was born on June 4, 1937 in Cleveland to the late George and Mary (Yesensky) Mendat. Marlene worked for Your Story Hour Recordings for over 25 years. She was an active member and treasurer of the Medina Seventh Day Adventist Church and received an award for the many years of dedicated service at the Medina Community Services Center helping those in need. Marlene enjoyed spending her time with the family and church friends, crafting, and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raymond Mack, brother, Gerald Mendat, and son-in-law, Brian Svoboda. Left to cherish Marlene's memory are her beloved children, Sally (Robert) Newman, Kenneth Mack, Dana Svobada, Tracy Hayman (Charles Lewis); cherished grandchildren, Michael Wharton, Alyssa, Gregory (Theresa) and Garrett Mack, Justin (Lauren) Workman, Madeline Svoboda, and Adam and Erin Hayman; sister-in-law Carol Mendat; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved dog Katie.
Marlene will be laid to rest privately at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
